I was a member a long time ago. I thought the blog was gone. I was Googling "Robbie Steel" and found 5.0!
Yes I was Googling myself.

I was a Club DJ, was in radio & was a fair remixer. I'm trapped in the 70's & 80's because it was the best times of my life. The music was a major part of my life being a DJ then.

I lost my passion for radio and pop when it all went gangster hip hop and bailed...

I focus my creativity on my work now. Wallcovering.

Since I still have all this expensive audio equipment, I still try to use it now and then.

Well it's one of those things, ....

There are only a few core members here in comparison to our old forum. With Face-Book and all these other social media outlets this type of platform is not as popular as it once was to some extent and for the most part, just about all of us have all the music we could ever want. ..... I know you probably do too.

Our little hideaway here, so to speak is just an extended opportunity to share what ever the hell you feel like sharing and keep in touch with each other, and every once in a while, a little long lost "something" that a few of us (are/were) looking for gets posted that makes it worthwhile to check in every now and then.

I have been feeling very nostalgic of late. So much so, I dusted off a turntable and hooked it up. I don't know why I kept all 5 turntables. I should sell a few but for some reason I can't. Same with my vinyl..

I don't need any music and posting and trading is frowned upon now and I'm cool with that.

Ahemmm. I must vent here.. I have purchased the same songs multiple times in multiple formats! I deserve a few for free! I don't count my promo's as free since most of them went in the trash.. 25 records every week from the pool and 24 of them were unplayable!
Ahemmm,, Sorry, I went on a rant there.. Hey! HEY you kids get off my lawn!

Nice to be back with all you/us geezers.
