Disco Mix Club ... Observation At Discogs
Just an FYI for Stu ...... maybe
I noticed when browsing discogs a few weeks ago that (if I have this correctly from memory) that a new member at discogs updated or posted for the first time all of the covers for all the early DMC tapes before they went to vinyl.
I'm not sure if these covers are hard to find, or if he took them from some place else, but they were pretty decent looking images & if you are into collecting the album art along with the mixes that it might be worth checking out.

WOW!!!!
Not only are these covers hard to find (More rare than rocking horse shit) but there seems to be a number of different tapes released that I do not have and was unaware of! How the hell can I get hold of these 'missing' ones?
A good place to see some interesting info about remix services and bootlegs is Disco Patrick. He also has a book out!

I'm surprised you are you are just discovering his site. I've mentioned it many times & posted links to it here and at the old forum.
Anyway ... I'm glad you found the info about the recent D.M.C. entries at discogs useful. However I'm really surprised to hear you say that you found out about some mixes you never knew existed, If there was anyone, I would have thought for sure you had them all, it would be you. I was almost not going to post anything about it ..... figuring you have all that shit!!
I guess the hunt for all the mixes continues.
Remember the old days when some one would post one mix or single here and there off an odd issue and we would all get a hard-on over that one single track or mix .... look how far we have came over the past few years ...... now we collect the album & cassette art.

Re: Disco Mix Club ... Observation At Discogs
I've known about Disco Patrick for ages just never mentioned it before.
I am a little confused about the tape releases as I thought that each month only had 1 tape. I need to do a bit more research it seems! Even Remix Services only show 1 tape.
