enough leeches
In this forum there are too many new users who are looting, maybe that's why I stopped my posts, that's enough, please moderators and aministratori take measures, are very unmotivated to put my things for these users that leave you with a and have nothing to offer, are just to make the leeches, enough, enough, enough leeches
Re: enough leeches
Yes Gianni - I have seen this as well..
Best way is not to supply links and only supply details to then be able to check and decide on who to give links to

Gianni, we already discussed before to share only through pm with people you trust. Password protected for maximum security. (if possible).
Then the leeches are not a problem, don't get too agitated with leeches please but cherish the friendships around here with the good people, ok

Very simple .......... don't give out links or passwords to anyone "that you do not know" - "that have no shares" - or suspect are only here to take and have no track record of participating in general.
I don't have time to baby sit the forum like I did at the old place.
With out writing something long and boring about how to do this ...... maybe this suggestion. Put a little standard message in your post that if you have not participated or have nothing to offer "Don't ask me for the links"
Part of this is up to you guys to do it yourself ........ and be creative with how you get other people to post up things of there own.
(personally I don't give a dam anymore what I post these days or how I post it or who gets it. If I can fill in a few missing things for friends on this forum and make someones collection more complete and a few leechers manage to get it too .... so-be-it..... but every once in a while I make it only available to select members, once again be creative).
There is a pretty diverse mix of people here ........ some who have tons of stuff that they have collected over the years and some who have very little. The trick is for lack of a better term is to weed out people that people that may or may not have things to share but will never ever ever ever ever take the time to post anything.
Most of the veterans here have "Everything" they could ever want and can more than likely fill anyone's requests, Some of these old members do not even post that much anymore. However they do check in regularly, more often than not to see if someone needs something. Don't assume that if it's not posted here that it can not be found or acquired. With out a lot of details, a lot of things get traded here privately, but you will never see these posts or trades if you sit on the sidelines and post nothing.
================================================
A little advice to new-comers be-careful who you piss-off and get to know the place a little before you start asking for things, especially if you have not posted anything yourself. If you are not sure what to post - Take a chance or Several chances and at-least demonstrate that you are willing, and always keep this in the back of you mind, several members here have everything .

Re: enough leeches
I understand, and I can say I'm an old member through Kittmaster, I have always followed the rules of the old forum, today I'm still here to lend a hand to all, old members and even new ones that share, participating in various discussions, and much more, then I follow the rules to the letter.
Re: enough leeches
Well' I guess I'm guilty. I haven't shared anything, but I haven't really been here to get anything either. Im kinda here cuz I'm lonley..
Most everyone here seems to be sharing mix services witch I have none of and don't really want. And I'm not a crazy nut job over bit rate. (no offense) lol.. lots of my stuff is from my vinyl.
I'm gonna try to make a list of everything I have and post it for you guys.

You have nothing to worry about, I could care less if you randomly posted nothing. Your one of the veterans I was more or less referring to, because I know that if you had something someone wanted you would not hesitate to post it up.
However I'm sure if you did decide post something randomly, it would probably be a nice surprise and be something that has been overlooked. Sometimes it's not what you share ........ it's how you share it.
A little information, a little humor, and a little back ground info in a post can sometimes go a long way in generating some interest about a post / share. Can't tell you how many times I've seen posts that have something I wouldn't normally have much interest in but came with a little story ....... and then made me think ... this might be worth getting. Again most of us have all this stuff it's the oddball things that seem to be the items people are looking for.
Try to remember this is kinda supposed to be fun, don't get to worked up about leechers, just ignore them.
