iTunes 11 Help?
Hi all,
I use iTunes to play all my digital music. I've just done the latest update to iTunes and now operating on iTunes 11. I fucking hate it! It has really slowed my computer down. I don't have a fancy all singing all dancing computer but with 4gb ram I expect it to be able to cope with playing music. Does anyone know how I can uninstall version 11 and go back to an earlier much less memory hungry version?

Re: iTunes 11 Help?
What is the format of all you files ..... ???
If they are just mp3's ... get rid of i-tunes completely.
If you decide to dump I-tunes ... make sure you get rid of all the intrusive back up files it installs to rebuild itself that will be in scattered locations all around your computer.
MAKE SURE if you are trying to get rid of it that you UNINSTALL as much as you can from the ADD & REMOVE programs section on your computer FIRST then hunt down all the other shit folders that have anything to do with (I-Tunes / Apple & Bonjour) and delete them.
You might even want to go into your folder options - tools section of your computer and check of the option to "un-hide" hidden folders and files, to make sure you get rid of all the little fuckers that you might not see otherwise.
Maybe it's just me, but in my opinion I-tunes is just about the worst program ever made, when used on a windows operating system.
For an alternative program to listen and watch MP4 files or whatever the shit apple format is, use a program called Quick Time Alternative.
I-Tunes might be a nice idea in theory and look cool, but what a total piece of shit program it is, you might as well intentionally download a virus onto your computer... a total piece of crap.

Maybe it's not just me .... Google Search {itunes crap program} About 39,600,000 results (0.22 seconds)
99.9% of what I listen to is done just using the plain and simple Windows Media Player.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Gregg might not like iTunes?
Just a very low level subtle and subliminal feeling I'm getting.

Re: iTunes 11 Help?
So other than what Greg has suggested with Quick Time, what else is there that I can use and surely I need to use iTunes to load my iPod, iPod touch and iPad?
Maybe I'm just a stupid sucked into Apple twat?
